Supplements are complicated.
There is very little regulation as to what goes into a supplement and even less on labeling quantities per ingredient. For instance, if the supplement is Ashwagandha, and the label doesn’t show the % of withanolides it contains, (withanolides are the major active ingredient), then you may be getting very little benefit or, even worse, way too much of the active ingredient.
